My Ride's a Fortress (And I Don't Have the Key!)
The rain lashes against the glass of my ride, blurring the world into an blurry mess. It's a solid thing, really, because I'm stuck inside. Not by circumstance, or awful weather, but by my own incompetence.
You see, I can't get out this car. The keys are gone, and I don't have a clue where they slipped away. It's like I've become hostage in my own mobile sanctuary. My once-trusted ride has turned against me, mocking me with its impenetrable metal walls. I'm infuriated, but what can I do??
I could try to break the glass, but that would probably result in me getting hurt and calling for a tow truck anyway. Maybe I could signal someone passing by, hoping they'll see my predicament. Or perhaps I could just wait it out, hoping the keys will turn up on their own.
That last option seems about as likely as winning the lottery.
, but
at this point, I'm grasping at anything. I just need a way out of this terrible situation before I snap.
